Subject: Acapulco.

I just wanted to drop you a line to tell you just what a fantastic time we ALL had at Casa Scala last week. The group I traveled with are all career Hospitality professionals and I can assure you that your staff exceeded anything any of us have ever experienced. Ever.

From Ricardo to Ricarda to the Housekeeping staff, every experience left us impressed. As I am sure you know, we here in Las Vegas are fortunate to have some of the finest culinary talent anywhere in the world. Typically, when our group travels, we like to dine out as often as possible to experience the local cuisine. The food/menus your staff prepared were so exceptional, we dined in EVERY NIGHT OF OUR TRIP!

I just don't know what to say other than "THANK YOU" for an experience I for one know I will not soon forget.

I wanted to tell you what a great time we all had at your villa over the last several days in Acapulco. We anticipated that it would be nice, but it far exceeded our expectations upon our arrival. It was simply gorgeous, down to every detail. The service was impeccable—Ricardo & Moe waited on us as if we were royalty, and I don’t even know where to begin with the cook—extraordinary!! Everything she made was delicious, and she even goes a step ahead and creates an amazing presentation, from the plating of the food to the table setting. We only ventured out to dinner one night (we chose Baikal), and while the food & atmosphere was OK, it did not compare to the food at your villa. You were right—we really never wanted to leave the villa. Everything we needed was there, and if it wasn’t Ricardo jumped through hoops to get it for us---you’re lucky to have him, my wife wanted to bring him and the rest of the staff home with us!!!! The maids cleaned our rooms twice a day (top to bottom) in addition to turning down our beds at night and getting our rooms cool. The grounds were perfectly manicured as well.

Susana—thank you for taking care of everything prior to our arrival—everything we needed was there just like you promised. Also, thanks for setting up the golf and helping us move our tee time back. The course was great and the staff there really took care of us. The mariachi’s were worth every penny as well. Also, thanks for speaking with the manager at Baikal about us—he gave us the best table in the house right up against the window overlooking Acapulco Bay.

We did read through the book you put together in each room (very helpful), and specifically read the section on tips. We exceeded your per day suggestion for “over the top 5 star service” and I think all of your staff members will be extremely satisfied with what we gave them—they deserved it!!

We definitely want to come back if you’ll have us. I’m not sure how aggressively you’re trying to lease out the villa, but if you would like me to I would be glad to pass on your name to some of my friends in the event they’re looking to rent a place. I was also pleased to know that I was your first renter—I would never had known, you guys already have it down to a science. If a future prospect ever wishes to visit with previous renter, feel free to pass my contact info along, and I’ll be glad to tell them how great your place is.

Again, thanks for everything, and enjoyed visiting with you over the last few months.

Hi,

Ricardo was so much more than a private Butler. He served our favorite cocktails all day as we relaxed around the pool and in the cabana.

Ricarda has to be one of Acapulco's best chefs. The Thanksgiving dinner for fourteen was set under the Acapulco stars and was delicious. It was such a relaxing weekend.

Your formal areas are beautiful but we chose the 'Al Fresco' dining area for most meals and just chilled at the pool and under the palapa.

I've stayed in many mansions in Acapulco but none as grand, yet quietly elegant, as Villa Scala. Your eclectic artwork, the specialty painting, and furniture are amazing. Every piece is perfect.

The way you maintained the original look of the mansion even with the major master bedroom expansion is appreciated.

After dinner, we relaxed to see the magnificent sunset give way to the millions of twinkling city lights and stars above. Your staff knew how to use the hi-tech sound system to create the exact mood we were looking for!

Villa Scala reminded us all of how beautiful Acapulco really is. I needed that!

Hi Guys,

I had seen pictures of the villa on your website before I arrived, so I basically new what to expect. What I didn’t anticipate was the spectacular setting, particularly overlooking the bay where I wound up spending my ‘chill time’ after dinner watching the sun fade into the horizon. From the moment that I arrived at Villa Scala, I knew what is like to die and go to heaven!

The whole atmosphere was all encompassing with attention to the smallest detail and the most magnificent aura I have ever witnessed on a vacation. I immediately felt at home as I pranced around the amazing grounds and viewed the villa from various different angles. I was most intrigued by the way the sunsets seemed to create a color change of the interior walls in the main living and dinning area. I have never seen anything like that before and found the experience to be mystical and magical.

Lastly, but certainly not least, was the warmth of your company and the spectacular 5-star service from your staff. They were always just a moment away when anything was needed and yet never under my feet, so I felt free and attended to at the same time. And the meals were not to be believed! They were prepared with tender love and executed into a masterful presentation at every meal, whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner. I’m sure you realize that you have one of the best chefs in the country.

I am really looking forward to my next visit.
